The leadership team was delighted to complete the second session of leadership development training for a class at the National Assembly. During this session, the class learned how to create shared values among their workers, how to set goals, how to lead change, how to analyze conflict and about organizational reconciliation and forgiveness. SRD was also honored to facilitate the first session of leadership development to a class in Mazar e-Sharif. The Mazar class heard topics such as servant leadership, creating vision, leading by example, questioning the status quo and empowering others to lead. Both the Kabul and Mazar classes were thoroughly engaged, worked well during the interactive exercises, asked great questions and generally had a fun time together...as did the trainers! SRD is already putting together another team of trainers to go in the fall to facilitate the third and final session to these two classes.
